eHosting DataFort (eHDF), the region's leading managed IT services provider and a member of TECOM Investments, has been named winner in the 'Best Managed Service Provider of the Year' category at the Network World Middle East Awards 2013.
eHDF was recognised for providing the highest level of IT services to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver service excellence. To clinch the award, eHosting DataFort demonstrated a successful track record of innovative deployments for a diverse portfolio of customers such as DMCC, Dunia Finance, VoiceTrust and EFS Facilities Services. eHosting DataFort was shortlisted alongside BT, Injazat and Symantec for the award category.
Now in its fourth year, the CPI Network World Middle East Awards has established itself as the major networking awards evening in the regional IT calendar. Recognising both 'users' and 'vendors', the awards rewarded innovative networking projects and technology providers behind them.
The judging panel consisting of senior IT professionals - MN Chaturvedi, Director of IT for Oasis Investment Co; Douglas Ian Wakeford, Senior Advisor with the Experton Group; Arun Tewary CIO and Vice President for IT at Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai; and Trevor Andrew Moore, Chief Information Officer of Qatar University selected a total of 19 winners for the 'end-user' and 'vendors' awards categories.
The award was presented to Yasser Zeineldin, CEO of eHosting DataFort during a gala ceremony held at the Habtoor Grand Hotel, Dubai Marina. Accepting the award, Zeineldin said: "We are delighted to receive this award as it demonstrates our ability and commitment to manage complex projects using state-of-the-art technology, while delivering value to our customers and helping them cost effectively manage their systems. Winning this award reflects eHDF's leadership in the marketplace."
Prior to this, eHosting DataFort has also won 'Best Managed Services Provider of the Year' at Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2011, 'Best Enterprise Service Provider' at the Arab Technology Awards in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, 'Most Innovative Use of New Technology' at the Network Middle East Awards in 2009, 'Best Colocation Facility Middle East' at the Data Centre Strategies Middle East 2010 and 2011, and the 'Best Managed Service Provider of the Year' at the Network World Middle East Awards and Computer News Middle East Awards in 2010.
