Samsung Galaxy Tab Gets Experimental Honeycomb ROM

Samsung Galaxy Tab is the company's first tablet device. It runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo OS, instead of the latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, which is specially designed for tablets. Samsung has already mentioned that, the original Galaxy Tab is stuck forever with the Android Froyo OS and the device will never get the Honeycomb update.
To solve this problem, Spacemoose1 at XDA has successfully ported the Android Honeycomb to the Samsung's 7 inch Galaxy Tab. We recently posted that, the Honeycomb port for Galaxy Tab is in the early stage and a working version will be released soon. After waiting for couple of weeks, Spacemoose1 has finally released the experimental Honeycomb ROM.
The experimental Honeycomb ROM, currently works only with the CDMA Galaxy Tab. As usual, some features work, while some features does not work at all. If you are having a CDMA Galaxy Tab, then you can go ahead and try the Honeycomb on your tablet device.
The ROM is based on the Honeycomb SDK build and it is still in the early stages of development. To learn more, head over to this thread at XDA Developers forum. Check out the demo video of Honeycomb on Samsung Galaxy Tab below.
