The "environmnmentally-friendly" eco car is powered by lithium-polymer battery

A NP-Distanza UC, a prototype car (C) is parked outside the Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore on June 28, 2011. The "environmnmentally-friendly" eco car is powered by lithium-polymer battery which was designed and fabricated by students from the Mechanical Engineering and Product Design and Innovation course as their final project. The carbon-fibre eco car will compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2011 to be held at the Sepang International circuit in Malaysia from 6-9 July.
