January 5, 2012 -- The European Union says it will decide this month on imposing new sanctions against Iran, including a possible oil embargo, in the hope of choking off funding for the country's nuclear programme. The EU is Iran's second largest oil buyer, with imports of 450,000 barrels per day. Graphic shows the key countries that buy and are dependent upon Iranian oil.
