A million dollar bionic man called Rex (short for Robotic Exoskeleton), built to showcase the extent to which technology can reproduce human parts, goes on show to the public at London's Science Museum. As well as prosthetic arms and legs, Rex has a functioning heart, lung, kidney, pancreas and spleen, while artificial arteries carry man-made blood and a microchip-camera acts as a rudimentary eye.
