October 11, 2012 -- China's Lenovo has toppled Hewlett-Packard to become the number one PC maker for the first time in its history, Lenovo had a 15.7% share of worldwide shipments of units, compared with 15.5% for HP. Graphic charts the top five PC manufacturers output for the third quarter of 2012.
